Any seized rhino horn should be publicly destroyed, providinbg a clear public awareness message. This is what President Moi of Kenya did to the stockpile of poached ivory in 1989. The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine have all stated that they do not agree with the use of endangered species in traditional Chinese medicine. They are willing to contribute advise and support regarding alternative plant-based products from non-endangered species.
