Recommendations of AsRSG Javan Rhino Colloquium, July 1997
Recommendations for Cat Loc and Cat Tien.
1. To conduct a track count in Cat Loc in early 1998 with technical assistance from experts from Indonesia and to correlate the track count with a photo census later.
2. To initiate habitat analysis work in 1998.
3. To encourage the large WWF Porject being conducted in Cat Tien to provide for specific rhino action, including an increase of guards in Cat Loc from 8 to 40.
