Large chromolithographed plate of a Rhinoceros with her young, in lower left corner monogrammed in stone the letters: 'O.A.H.', and printed in lower right corner: 'Alfred Jacobsens eneret, D.B. 106'. <br>The Danish publisher Alfred Jacobsen (1853-1924), started his loosely issued, popular print series for children, the "Danske Billeder" in 1886, to counteract the import of the popular German children's prints and cut-out plates.
