Today, Monday 22 September 2014, is World Rhino Day. There are many activities around the world to raise awareness and to help the conservation of rhinos in Africa and Asia. Here is a list online: http://www.worldrhinoday.org/ The Rhino Resource Center continues to monitor all activities and to register all publications. This is in aid of both research and conservation. Policies must be based on reliable principles which are developed over many years with the help of the experiences of many people. Their collective wisdom is available in their publications and easily accessible online through the RRC. Support to the RRC is always appreciated.
