So I'm working on my Masters through the AZA and GMU and now it's to the dreaded stage of the thesis/project. Does anyone have any suggestions? I care for Blacks and would like to do a study of some sort on them. Thanks.

You could always try a behavioral study and use ethograms to monitor behavior. My thesis involved adding and changing environmental enrichment and monitoring the effects on the animals' behavior. It is very time consuming though.

RynoTamer,
Have you found that research subject yet?
Make sure to send it to the RRC when you're done!

Willem,
I believe I'm going to do it on foot problems found in all rhino species. Initially was going to do it just wiht Blacks but there is not enough data/information out there just for Blacks. Our female Black has some severe foot issues due to a blood disease, hence the interest. It appears that foot problems lean towards the browsing rhinos more so than the grazers.

Yes, I have seen it. It ran in our local papers and surprisingly throughout the state. Thanks.
